I had a similar experience with a group of friends. It was raining and we had made rain suits out of black garbage bags. We were lost for hours and ended up sleeping next to a &#39;creek&#39;. When we woke up we realised that we were only about 50 meters away from the house and the creek was just a very shallow ditch/drain thing. looking back, I don&#39;t think we actually ever got that far away from where we started in the first place.
